I just took these pictures...I looked very closely and is all surface rust, nothing deep. I was worried when I saw differential area full of rust and again, all surface rust.....

I agree..hate to say this but look at the bright side, you just found where the leak is....if your AC is weak or stop working again....

Nice... I have been "dumping" power steering fluid and refill every year as it turned black only two years after I got the truck new (2005), I also "lube" the U joint on the steering linkage by spraying it with 3-36 lube and anti corrosive, as a mechanic in the past, I have seen lots 4runner...

I hate to say this but 3rd row on the 4runner is useless in a way because it is only good for little kids as far as I can see (on 4th gen 4Runner). I have two boys 8 and 9 and we saw a 4runner with third tow when we were on a camping trip last year and asked the owner if I can take a look at it...

I have weathertech in my 4runner and Husky in my Honda CRV, both fits nicely and worth the $$ especially after snow....... I usually shop around on ebay and Amazon, price is usually stiff but you do find a deal here and there.....

I just went with factory plugs on my V8, just be careful not to drop the rubber seal under the coil. It took me forever to locate the one I dropped and made an easy job took forever to complete....

I check my spare tire pressure every year and at the same time, I give the cable a good lube job. My neighbor have a 06 4Runner and not able to get the spare tie down, I helped him by using a large pry bar prying on the spare while hes turning it which requires tons of effort, finally got it...

Do google search on Blue Steel Primer, we use it on rusted metal and have great result with it..... you can paint over it if you want or just leave it the way it is.....
