My install
Here are a few pics of my install, I still have to tidy things up a bit and reroute the battery and ground cables but all in all it came out pretty good. Install was very straight forward and pretty easy. I would definitely recommend this plate to anyone with a switch-pro.
Immediately after the install my mpg went down. My truck was averaging about 14mpg and went down to 13mpg. Since the install I haven't done any other notable mods and i'm currently averaging about 16mpg with somewhat spirited driving.
In my experience, besides getting (surprisingly) better gas mileage, the enhanced sound at higher RPM's alone is worth it.
Also the OP has already mentioned he has Weather Tech's so the Husky liners would be a mute point.
