I have a 2001 Toyota 4 Runner no security. I replaced ECM due to water damage. I bought one used from a junk yard, same p/n and the truck wont start. I was told the new ECM has security. Could the new ecm be modded to work in a vehicle with no security. I think there was a thread about this but...
