I recently replaced my vc gaskets, silicone was black, so used them same when I reinstalled and no leaks a couple weeks later.

Thanks! To clarify, freezing only helps get the new bushings in, doesn't have anything to do with getting them out, sort of mistyped there.

Locktite makes a freeze off spray that may work. I'm sure other companies do to. The can I have I have no idea where it came from, I don't use it often.
