Sorry for reviving an old thread... but I just got an AGM battery for my 2020 since the factory unit wasn't cutting it after I added a dash cam. I have two questions:
1. Do you have this in "HIGH" or "LOW" setting?
2. Does the voltage booster unit prevent you from putting the fuse box cover...
Yes of course, and you made my point exactly. I’m planning to get a more modern rig sometime in the future, so I got the right trim for that. I’m gonna get much more of my money back compared to the alternative. You like modding, and so it makes sense for to not get a PRO. Good for you.
Like clockwork... in every thread where a mention about TRD PRO and price is mentioned, there is always an uninformed obviously non-PRO owner bashing the PRO's supposed overpriced-ness.
The thing is, people buy the PRO because they aren't likely to modify it (much). The PRO's lack of...
Right? I can't believe I scored 4 free spares from fellow 5th gen owners in my area. Here are a couple more shots that do a better job of showing the lateral position (offset) of the steelies (+ 1" spacers)
Not that it helps you now... but sounds like you should've sprung for the PRO. The PRO will net you whatever amount you saved (and more) when it comes time to sell. Plus you get the nice little touches that you don't get in the ORP.
There are many dealers that will sell you a TRD PRO at sticker, you just have to shop around and/or be willing to wait a few weeks.
Whether justified or not... it doesn't really matter what one thinks... the fact is that PROs are always in demand. If you can swing it, and are not planning to...
I was bored, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money or mess with the suspension travel of the factory Fox struts... so I put a 1/2" "lift" on my rig.
Front L/R: 1/4" Toytec spacers
Rear L: 20mm OME spacer
Rear R: 10mm OME spacer
10" of ground clearance!
The Westcott setup retains the original geometry of the front suspension (but not the rear). You paid good money for those factory FOX, so the logic here is to keep that ride quality... at least in the front.
