The only thing I know of that allows video playback is NavTool. However, even though they claim that it's plug and play, I believe to allow video playback there is wire modification needed, and that may void your warranty.

What about when you take off the film after a year or two, the paint on the covered part is almost brand new but the rest of the truck has aged? Has anyone seen this?

Go on the Kelly's Blue Book and plug and play your options and see what you come out with for the price. If you're really in the market and $38-40k is in your price range, why not get the 2011, knowing that you'll get a brand new car (unless you got something against buying new cars haha).

I agree with the rubber coating. I bought my 2011 TE brand new and it was delivered to the dealership the day that I bought it with 2 miles on it. I had the coating done underneath before I drove it off of the dealership. It's definitely worth it.
