Just got off the phone with service department. TSB 0166-10 informs dealers to reflash ECM to fix hard shifting issues with ALL 2010 4Runners. I asked him if this dealt with specific VIN numbers etc. and he said from what he could see this applied to all 2010 V6 models with no specific range...

CMills I don't know exactly which TSB applied to my VIN. We looked up the Assembly line roll off date and saw it was NOV of 2009. From an earlier post it appeared mine fell after the VIN's listed, but maybe there is another TSB out there. I mentioned the TSB listed from the other thread...

Westwind77 The last 4 of my VIN is 2790. Looks like my VIN is after the one listed and should have the updated ECM. Either way, I will ask about it when I take it in this week for service. Thanks for the info on the issue from the other thread!
