Synthetic Engine Oil

What do you guys think about synthetic blend oils? I bought a 5 quart of Castrol Syntec 5W-30 at Walmart yesterday for about $15 and had planned on using that. My 4runner is an 06 with about 10K miles on it. Is this a good oil to use from now on??

Mobil 1 synthetic oil varieties

I got some Castrol 5W-30 Syntec Blend today at Walmart for $15 for the 5 quart. I am going to change out the oil tomorrow....

Which brand/weight of oil do you guys think is the best to use? I have an 06 4 runner Sport....this time will be my first oil change
