Isn't this a PreRunner kind of look? When I drove through the SW, I saw many purposeful-looking front lift biased trucks and 4Runners that looked like they were geared up to hit the dunes.

I found two right-size bolts with nuts and washers on the backend to make sure it didn't overly wear the plastic dash panel. This has held up great and the position is perfect. At the finger tips, easy to grab, power cord stays out of the way.

Wearing was good with me but noise was getting harsh. I don't fully blame the tires though as I have 285/75s KO2s on my JKUR and they aren't as loud. The 4Runner just isn't as well insulated I think. That all being said, I just placed an order for 265/70 BFG KO3s and will be getting them...

I'm about to replace my 265/70 KO2s. They have 60k miles on them, still look new with plenty of tread but boy are they getting loud now. I loved them new and they've treated us well in every aspect, including water. I'll probably replace them with the KO3s.

I like the new one (if I was in the market for something new) but honestly, I haven't seen anything that'd make me swap from a 5th gen. Honestly, I think Toyota set the brand's new styling bar with the 2014 4Runner and the design still looks fresh. Exterior wise, the new 6th gen looks good too...
