No, the sound doesnt come through the mic. An external speaker might be in the cards down the road!? Right now I leave the lid open on the center console when I use it and I can hear everything perfectly. The mic eiher goes back in the console or I lay it over my lap.

I dont know if they do codes. I havent seen anything myself. Their prices are pretty good already I think. They might work deals for T4R members on here...give them a call and tell them what you are looking for and they will tell you if it's possible.

Sounds like you figured some things out but, dont let it fester. Give Toytec a call and talk it out. Send them pics if you need to. They would know best what might sometimes happen with their kits. I know with my OME setup it's why I picked up trim spacers cause a vehicles weight balance...
