Got the final bill back. With the core (about 1k), the trans was 2600. Ill post the pictures of what failing was. The transmission filter screen was full of metal.

Bad news on the transmission front. Dealer dropped the pan and shes got metal shavings everywhere in there. They said dont even bother with fresh fluid and solenoids. Told me they could get me a reman yota genuine trans for 3800. Ouch. Between a new rear axle installed (failed inspection. Bs)...
