I dont remember which injector I had replaced prior to parking it for a couple years but its extremely likely thats what caused the detonation because it was running sort of crappy after that. I'm going to install the plug and see what happens. Thanks for explaining this!

Thanks. Do you all suggest I drain and refill the oil once before trying to start it and then do it again? That was suggested to me by someone but I'm not sure if its overkill. If you all think its necessary, should I change the filter both times as well?

Went outside and tried again turning the wheel kind of made it hesitate but then the thing started hesitating without the wheel turning at all (all this was done while idle) it wanted to die but wouldn't. Turned t off and back on and it fires but revs real low again. Gas light not on anymore...

it may help to mention that when the truck is running and idle and I turn the wheel all the way in each direction it doesn't replicate the issue (sputter/reduced power steering response)

So are you saying the squeal/loss of power steering and sputter are different issues? one being low on fuel the other being a loose belt?

There's the resonator and some tube coming from it to somewhere, might be a problem but I don't know enough about what it does exactly.

Not as straight forward as realoem but using the couple sites mentioned above you can get what you need.
