Has anyone ever attempted a EFI V-8 swap? I was talking to my wife the other day and we are thinking of trying a swap to a V-8. I know that I will need to get the transmission with it as well. I like the idea of having all that power and not having to mash the pedal through the floor board. But...

I have a 1995 T4R 3.0 automatic. When I step on the gas and start to go it feels like the TQ convertor isn't working right. Around 2000 rpm the truck starts to move like it getting power. Before that it barely moves out of its own way. Am I imagining things or are these trucks just that heavy...
