Just maybe Have you checked that you accidentally didn't turn the rheostat all the way up? It will drive you nuts.

I replaced all with stainless machine bolts (washers & lockwashers) the same size on all the skid plates. I enlarged the holes on the plates and had no problems through 6 oil changes now. I got the rivet nuts from McMaster Carr.

I used a hammer and punch that just fit in the frame and broke the weld loose. Then put in a Rivnut.

These are identical to the ones in mine (Dealer installed) Liquicell.

That sounds probable, I know in my 08 even with lights off, all instrument lights are on and intensity can be changed with the dash knob. The Climate Control is backlit but the intensity can only be changed with the lights on,

Yes, definitely back lit. I started it up in the garage (total darkness) and the backlight is obvious. You can't notice it in daylight. Once you turn on the lights, the backlight dims and it's the instrument light brightness knob that controls the backlight. Just maybe the OP has the dash...

SOrry guys, but it is backlit. As long as the key is on the backlight comes on, when the lights are turned on it follows the instrument panel intensity setting from the rheostat. Just verified this this morning on my 08 Sport.

Did he install the shocks with the springs compressed all the way. You can't tighten them down under spring load.

Using top tier 87 oct. gas all along, Shell, Chevron and Valero. Unless they are putting more than their 10% in gradually gas shouldn't be a factor. I check my tire pressure regularly, air filter is changed every 12K. and also cleaned the MAF sensor 7 tanks ago.
