Including what parts on the JDM motor will, or will not work? I have found a lot of good info on the swap itself, just some conflicting info when it comes to the JDM motor.
Great write up! I'm swapping a JDM into a 95 with a blown 3.0l. I don't have another 3.4 to compare side by side, but I'm sure I'll figure it out, I'll just go over your write up with a fine tooth comb. Thanks for putting in the effort!
I'm in the Fairbanks area. Just got a '95 that I'm going to rebuild. Once I get it up and running would be interested in meeting for doing mods or other maintenance related type things!
Part of the '95 club
I just recently acquired a 95 for 800 bucks. Needs new motor so I may just go with a 3.4 swap. I can get one from JDM for around 2k. Love your build, but being up in Fairbanks with no garage and work being so busy in the summer this could take awhile!!!
Great write up.
I installed a drop bracket for the bar. Attaches to the frame and drops the bar. So far so good and a cheaper alternative to the custom quick disconnects.
I bought a heater servo for my 99 limited from Nissanh, price was fair and shipping was timely. I would buy from again. Item works perfectly and saved me close to 100 for the part, and a few hundred if I would have had the dealer install the part. a few bucks and 20 minutes and I was good to...
I think I'm having this problem now. I get the clicking from the servo, and all I get is heat, AC no longer works.
Does this sound like the same issues you guys have had.
