B&M 70268 SuperCooler Transmission Cooler Install on a 3rd Gen

Me and my buddy must have the wrong Scan Gauge codes because both of ours on the highway is 190, in traffic 210-220, and off-roading goes to 240-250 for me and 280 for him. I have the B&M Bypass and he is stock, brand new radiator tho. Im also using Redline synthetic ATF.

Bilstein rear shock broke, looking to upgrade rear suspension, need advice!

So it seems that the shock didn't break, what happened was the shock rod unthreaded from the bottom mount. I was able to thread it back in, but im not sure how safe this is? Should i tack weld or put some red threadlock on it? I ordered the LC shocks regardless but if this shock is fixable...

Bilstein rear shock broke, looking to upgrade rear suspension, need advice!

Looks like a lot of people are recommending the OEM Tokico Blacks, so im gonna try going this route! If im not happy with it, i might do the BOSS with remote reservoirs. I will report how the new setup is working once i get it going. Thanks for everyones help.

Bilstein rear shock broke, looking to upgrade rear suspension, need advice!

Now I have another option to consider, I emailed toytec about their BOSS with remote reservoirs and they said they will also work with the superflex. When I do go off-roading or overlanding I seem to always find miles of nasty washboard, I wonder if the remote resi would help with that?

Bilstein rear shock broke, looking to upgrade rear suspension, need advice!

I emailed Toytec and they suggested their Boss rear shocks which are good to 3.75" lift, anyone have any experience with these? Only thing that turns me off the LC OEM shocks is that they are not 4runner specific and have to change a bunch of washers to make them work. Im pretty much narrowed...

Bilstein rear shock broke, looking to upgrade rear suspension, need advice!

Thanks for all the replies guys. I have the toytec ultimate coilovers in the front and I'm happy with them. They are set to 2.5" lift, in the rear I have supeflex with 10mm spacers. Usually for weight I have storage platform with fridge, 33" spare, and Rtt when going camping. I never really got...

Bilstein rear shock broke, looking to upgrade rear suspension, need advice!

I have the Toytec Ultimate Lift kit from about 3 years ago. It has the bilstein rear shocks and superflex 3.75" coils. I dont have the extended Bilsteins which is probably why it never rode that great, and eventually snapped (see pic below). I found the rear to be pretty bouncy on and off the...

Repainting the truck, looking for suggestions on what Grey to go with

Hmm Cement grey does look good, and a grey/black combo would be sweet. On the plus side also its a Toyota color! I got some thinking to do.

Repainting the truck, looking for suggestions on what Grey to go with

I screwed up the Porsche color, the correct color is now up! I also love black, but think its time for a change, im keeping the bumper, sliders, roof rack, grille and wheels a satin black, and down the road a black rear bumper. Not sure how the flares will look black, might give it a try.
