Agreed. My aftermarket alarm always goes off while i'm driving. It pissed me off so bad I just turned it off. I park in sketchy areas of LA all the time and never had anything happen to my 4runner, and my friends civic got stolen in a safe area! I only hear of older toyota and honda cars...

I would go with OEM. The NGK double strap plugs were in my truck for a couple months until it started making this nasty knocking sound. Put OEM spark plugs back in and the knocking went away. No clue why the NGKs did this? but I'm only going to buy oem parts from now on.

Why not. Can't go wrong with black. Try plasti dip first, if you don't like it you can always peel it off.

260k miles still going strong. I think it has original fluids in it.

I plastidipped my wheels for the first time, and all I did was clean the surface really well. There was still brake dust caked on my wheels when I dipped them. It's been a month and they are still holding up well

I have an aftermarket alarm as well. To disable I put my key to the "on" position and then click the red button. Not sure if it will help as mine is different.

Hey man do the tires have any dry rot or cracks in them? How old are the tires?
