Thanks for the reply. Well, I just started my engine and drove away when it died instantly. Tried to restart it, but got the dzzzzz noise (no compression). So I figured, timer chain broken. Pushed it aside the road and had it towed of. Of course I am worried one or more valves are bend, if not...

Hi to everybody. Love my toyota 4Runner 1991, 2.4 liter gasoline (2.4 L 22R-E I4). Best car ever! Too bad, I think my timer chain is broken.... Where should I post the question if this is an interference engine? Can't find the answer. In Toyota we trust. Have a great day. Peter.
