The air box has a drain hole in it so if water does get sucked in, it will drain there. Now I know if you are getting a snorkel for water crossings then it would only make sense to plug this hole. For me, I don't plan on major water crossings, but want a snorkel for cleaner air. Where I go...

I have the Power Stop Z36 rotors/pads. Huge difference and would recommend them. Just not sure about how long they will last compared to OEM.

I would have the same problem here in Boise, ID. I would estimate 1 out of 3 4Runnners and 1 out of 2 Tacos has some kind of mod.

The "remove all your mods" mod should do the trick.

Looks good! I have a 2014 Trail w/ KDSS like yours. Agree that all the horror stories about putting a lift on a KDSS equipped 4Runner is mainly smoke. The rear is pretty straightforward (just put my 3rd set of springs in). The front gets alot easier with the use of ratchet straps.

Cut everything! BMC, trim plastic/fender, more aggressive BMC, trip plastic/fender again, relocate windshield wiper fluid reservoir, new front bumper that allowed clearance in the front, -38 offset to keep tires off of the UCA's, UCA's to offer better caster, 1" BL, etc. And I am still...

Spacer lifts go on the suspension which is different than a body lift. I have had no issues with doing a 1" body lift.
