I think that a Hi-Lift is most useful for off-roading (it can be used for several things), but it is pretty difficult to use for lifting on a stock truck. Sliders (quality ones anyhow) can be used as a lift point, and most aftermarket steel bumpers can as well.

I think either a bad PCV or a blown head gasket can cause this. Do you have any other signs of coolant and oil mixing (like dirty, muddy looking coolant or smoke out the tailpipe)?

If it's an intermittent 2-5 second "whirring" sound followed by a gentle click / pop that you can feel in the brake pedal and usually happens after you come to a stop it's probably the ABS system running self-checks, and isn't usually anything to worry about. I used to notice mine doing that...

I don't have any first hand experience with this CAI myself, but the general consensus here seems to be that they aren't worth the money, and can even be detrimental to the performance of the 3.4. Look into the deckplate and ISR mods for a far more popular (and cheaper) option.

Yeah you have to remove the amplifier as well (not sure why it's an external box, but it is). Trace the harness from the back of the stock head unit. It goes to a small metal box right behind. That's the amplifier, remove it and your harness will fit the plugs that go into the amp.

As someone who only puts about 5K a year on my Runner, I'm glad someone told me this. Thanks for the correction, I thought it was just 90K interval.
