That's also a good point. Someone suggested clip on filters. I'll try the 3m wraps on the rear lights and just put the clip on front on when parked. I've seen others out there with red and green lights, and the NPS rangers didn't seem to have any issues. Don't need to tempt fate on the roads!

I'll definitely try out the 3m wrap! For the legality - it will only be on when off road on the beach, so shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks for the suggestion feusaf - but note I meant eyes adjusting to low light, not actual NVG usage. I'll check that Roscolux stuff out!

Hey all, I currently have some of the cheap LED light pods mounted on my roof rack. When fishing, it would be nice to tint them red, as not to kill everyone's night vision. Has anyone found any sticky red film, similar to a stage lighting gel, that I can adhere to the lens covers when needed...

Took mine back to Hatteras this past week to try and hook up on some drum. No dice, but the fiance took some pretty sweet shots at sunrise.

While I don't have rear heat in my 96, I do have rear HVAC in my Challenger. That system is actually just a continuation of the front HVAC system of ducts. Hope that helps!
