Update: I finally just gave in and took it to a relative's shop about an hour ago. He checked it out as soon as I dropped it off and he just called saying that it was simply a bad spark plug wire.
I think you might be right. I just checked the coolant, and there's almost none left. The only thing is though, it hasn't overheated yet. Is there anything I can do myself to know for sure if it's a bad head gasket?
I have a '97 4WD Limited, and and about a week and a half ago, it all of a sudden started getting shaky every now and then when I would give it a little gas. Then when I would come to a complete stop, it would start shaking like crazy and the exhaust was sort of pulsing (white exhaust...
Components have to sound a little better/different in the rear if the tweeters are about window height. And I think the Kicker tweeters I got for the back have a swivel with them.
Yea, I've been looking at all kinds of component speakers for the past week. Originally I went with a pair of Alpine Type-S's but the Infinities are just too good to pass up for $96 (shipping included).
Here are the Infinities if you wana check 'em out.
And, why do so many people stick to...
Yea. Been thinking and decided I might as well go ahead and get an amp too since everyone says it makes a huge difference. I'm probably going to get the Hifonics amp you showed me unless I can find a better one.
Yea, I'm going with with 5.25 Kicker KS50.2's in the back and 6.5 Infinity Reference 6020CS components in the front.
And about the tweeters in the back, any specific place I should mount them?
From what I've read, all I would need is 2 5.25 adapters. But if you say it's the same amount of work, Ill just get 6.5s in the front and back. And are there any threads on mods for the rear speaker well?
Alright so I've decided on the 6.5" Alpine Type-S components but I can't decide on any 5.25" components. Have you seen any for around $100 that are pretty good quality?
And btw, I'm gona wait on getting an amp since it's not absolutely necessary just yet.
