The cargo area of the LC is so high because it houses the battery for the hybrid system. I think they could make a third row work on top of it but it would likely take some reconfiguration for space in the footwell. Then you are left with a cargo area like the Sequoia meaning you have no room...

Get a trailer for the tent? We really like our RTT but sometimes we want to stay in the same place for a couple of days and its nice to be able to unhook the trailer and still take the 4Runner somewhere if needed.
