With the boot slipped down on the upper ball joint, I'm not sure the zip tie will do much more than retain what grease that remains in the boot and minimize clean-up mess.
Perhaps do a ball joint check for peace of mind. That should give you a good idea as to go/no-go.
It appears that 04152-YZZA5 is the 'new' part number for 04152-38010 as 04152-38010 is discontinued. It (04152-YZZA5) is the kit and so has the filter element, gaskets and drain tube. When I order 04152-YZZA5 from the stealership parts department what I receive is the kit as described above...
So I decided to carry the removable trays one step further.
First, I had some leftover indoor/outdoor carpet from my 4runner sleeping platform project (I'll be posting about that soon). So I cut out pieces to pad the tray bottoms. Seem to fit nicely.

I did manage to remove both rear wheel well trays on my 2016 5th gen without breaking the clips. :cheer2:
It is tight to say the least getting a (big) hand in there but with patience it can be done. Further, the temp today was 80F+ so I suspect that helps with pliability. I'm sure my attempt...
