Yup, I have some air bags that have been trouble free for 6 years or so. Probably only filled them 3 or 4 times. The setup is not a rocket ship, but it works, even up mountains.

Ah. A lot of people complain about sliding on surfaces if they don't have full time awd. I can't imagine a bent axle would change that a whole lot, but I could be wrong. Tire wear doesn't lie if its happening quickly and all are inflated correctly, etc. So that's good to look at.
