My 97 was killed by a light running RX-350 in September. But, in July, I celebrated 400,000mi as the original and only owner. Replaced with a 96 Limited with 262k... You know, a reliable low-mileage vehicle... ;)

Combination switch Did you get this fixed? I had to fix mine when this happened or it wouldn't pass inspection. It buzzed before it stopped working. It's a worn down connection in the combination switch. I took mine apart and built up the worn down part with solder and it worked fine for years.

I had this problem after significant mileage (and turns) on my '97 4Runner. The turn signal switch inside the combinations switch can (and will) get worn down, as it's made of copper rubbing against copper. Replacement of the combination switch is about $189 in parts. But, I took my switch...
