Update to sub system again. So I switched out the Alumapro MX12s to something smaller like almost half the size: It's four DDSW6.5s in a T-Line box. They go amazingly low for 6.5s.

Finally got the pods in and mounted onto the A-pillars. When I installed them I found the paint did not match. Now gotta find SEM to match. Also It would have looked alot better if I had molded the pods into the A-pillars. Next thing is work on aiming the left tweeter at me, I have to turn it in...

Thanks for the compliment! No, I did not install any fans for the amps. The AQ20 has an internal fan and the Zukis don't need any. The ends of the amp enclosure are open for some air circulation. Finishing up the pods tomorrow, hopefully I'll get them installed and post some pics of it.

You should be okay with that tear. You might want to cut that piece off in case it drops into the valve train area. The critical part is the inner seal that the boot is up against. I would be more concerned with cam plug seals. 4Runners are famous for oil leaking from those plug seals. I would...

More than likely that would be a valve cover oil leak. The oil is probably leaking from the round plug seals at the back of the v/c. The leak seems to be higher than the head gasket. I just replaced my v/c gaskets. You could confirm by cleaning up the oil then driving and look to see where it's...

Haven't metered them yet but plan to in the near future (got my own Termlab). I gotta find my peak frequency for this truck still yet. I probably start off running them at 2 ohms first. Do you have an idea of what peak freq I can start with?
