I got that same one but haven't put it on yet.
I'm a little afraid with how fragile the screen appears to be, if I put that on taking it off will cause real damage.
Has anyone put one of these on and taken it off?
I was adding nerf bars on my 2020, and used the jack (and jack stands) to give myself additional room to move while putting them on.
Tip: Check/use the jack once now when you dont need it. The screws to secure the jack handle extensions were painted in place, blocking insertion of the extension...
The app is spying for sure, but I also think its the 4runner is phoning home on its own. The app doesn't have the mileage etc.
I got my 4runner a month ago and just yesterday started trying to figure out the Toyota Connected Services privacy policy.
To me it only seems useful when its super cold or super hot.
Getting ready to go to work hit the start 15 minutes before I leave, go out to a warmed up/defrosted car. Having to start it again after getting in doesn't detract from that.
I think I see on the toyota site that this is going to cost $170+Dealer Labor to renew for 2 years when the trial expires.
I wonder what functionality will continue to work if we choose not to renew.
