I don't think it'll fit without serious modification to the FMU housing or the mechanism housing. I have the FMU installed as well and I gotta say they look really sick together with the lights on.

haha, ya I get it. In all seriousness though, the manual might get a bit annoying if you're going to be in stop and go traffic a lot, but if you don't mind it, it shouldn't be a problem. Reliability won't be an issue, plenty of third gens endure the harsh conditions of the 5 freeway out here...

I'm installing a similar one from a JDM second gen on my dash this weekend. The issue is the dash on the JDM cars slopes in the other direction so I had to do some reworking with the housing and form it to the shape of my dash. I'll probably post a thread on it when its done.
