For sure. At the time I was asking there were a couple pairs of 5th gen sliders on FB marketplace for a deal. I tend to see more 5th gen parts available on the secondary market.

These technically aren't rock sliders as they bolt to the body and not the frame of the vehicle. Purely cosmetic but they do look good! Really looking to see if a 5th gen rock slider will bolt to a 4th gen frame.

.4" on all sides, I'm sure I can make that work. I might end up trying to modify the OE housing like OP did. I emailed SolidShift to see when they'll have theirs back in or if they could sell me the 3D print file. Really just tired of buying fog housings that leak lol

What are the dimensions of those SS3 fog pods? Not looking to spend $300 on fogs. Seems like something like this may work?

Looks like I've run into this same issue. Any chance you can buy the non-Limited bezel and trim the HVAC/clock controls to fit the non-limited bezel? I'm looking at $250 for bezel+hvac controls and I can't find one with auto climate like I currently have.

Rock sliders to the frame or running boards to the body? Curious how this went.

I'm looking to do something similar but also combine both the fog and DRL/turn signal housing. I want to move the DRL/turn to under the headlights with the popular trim strips. But then the lower DRL/turn housing will be just kind of chilling there. Anything out there that combines both...

How's this unit working out? I'm looking at a 9" version S8 for my 04 w/JBL and RDS - I think it would be a similar setup as yours.

I know reviving this is a reach but I'm also searching for a relatively straight forward solution to get switchbacks working (as close to OE as possible) on my 2004 Limited w/DRL. I purchased these thinking I could just plug them in and be good to go. This was before I knew Toyota didn't wire...

I removed the running boards off of my 04 Limited today and had this exact idea as I was unplugging the wiring harness to the lights. I wonder if anyone has taken apart the factory running board to get at the OE wiring harness? There are lenses with sockets on the running boards with a loomed...

Appreciate the reply! That's where my head was at. 0 offset is going to give me the extra room I need. I'm installing the Whiteline UCAs this weekend which might give me a little extra breathing room as well.

I know this is an older post but I'm trying to figure out what needs to be done to run 285/75/16s on my 04 Limited. Currently lifted 2" in the front and rear and I'm not opposed to a front spacer for a net 1" extra gain in the front. Currently running 265/75/16 and looking for a little more...
