Just bought Gobi Rack with no crossbars, I have a tepui tent coming... Any new thoughts on mounting RTT perpendicular to length of truck (I.E. mounting without crossbars)? It just seems like when braking or accelerating quickly, it leaves a possibility for tent to slide forward or backwards...
