Don’t walk away... run!
No idea what a shop would charge, but if the rust is worse than what mine was, I’d run far away from that sale. It’s not worth the cost/effort to repair it as you have no idea what’s hiding underneath until you cut it open.
Matt (owner of SRQ) has a bunch of photos of his own truck in his build thread with these installed: SRQ-Runner Build Thread
My $0.02, I bet you can find a used fender in your color for a reasonable price. What color is yours?
The 5th gen ARB (:puke:) has additional "covers" that protect these areas. I bet it would be easy to fab something up out of some sheet metal.
I've had my ARB for about 10 years and have never had an issue with these openings though.

Thanks! Finishing the roll bar is next on the mod list. The YO is from an old Toyota Pickup I found in the junkyard. It's just a place holder to check sizing. I'm chatting with hoksibish about 3D printing something different.
For some reason I wasn't getting notification on this thread. Sorry guys!
Snorkels aren't just for water crossings. Higher intake and out of the wheel wells = less dust ingestion. Last time I was in Moab, I was the only one without a snorkel and had to swap to a new filter since the other...

I was at the junkyard for a few miscellaneous parts for the 4Runner and happened upon an ‘88 4Runner with the roll bar still installed. Being in Denver, I couldn’t believe it hadn't been picked over yet. Since I struck out on finding what I came for, I decided to grab the bar...

Quick day trip with a few friends in hunt for some fall colors. We explored the trails around Pickle Gulch/Blackhawk Colorado. It was an awesome day with no plans other than to drive around, have lunch, and shoot some photos.
