My 2006 v8 has 150k miles and I bought it with 140k. Couldn't find any history on the transmission fluid. Went to do a simple drain and fill since stealership wanted 350 to do a full flush today...and [emoji15] YIKES ITS DIRTY. Guess I will go ahead and take her in and let the dealership do it...

Recently purchase a 2006 limited 4.7 and have the exact same issue between 40-50 mph. Even my passengers can feel it. Anyone have any luck figuring this out?

you should be able to count the shifts how many are you getting? if you turn OD off do your rpm's go up?

I have this lift. But I havnt had time to install it hopefully this weekend. I will post pics and info.

Do a forum search for "285 load range e" and you will find some others asking the same question and a few reviews from people running them.

They will be heavy and stiff. But they would hold up well off road. I think they make them in a D. I recently ordered my tires and made sure i ordered a D to try and avoid the complaints I hear of people running Load Range E.

i'll make an install and review thread for this lift kit since i cant find anyone else running it (i think its new).

should get it in the mail Wednesday as well as my new tires. I also ordered a diff drop on eBay for $17.

I'm in the same position so I ordered the 3" lift kit by Rough Country for $239 shipped from here http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=20070 it comes with rear 3" lift springs and new shocks for the rear and a spacer up front I will then save up for front...

285/75/16 if you are a 16 inch rim. you still may rub a little bit. 1/4 inch wheel spacer would solve the rubbing. or new uca's.
