Thank you all for your advise. I have to drop my oil pan this weekend. The car is lifted 6 inches so it looks like i can do it without removing anything

I have the same problem. I plan on replacing the rod bearings from dropping the oil pan just to be safe.

I just bought my ‘95. Put a new fuel filter and TPS on it to get it to idle correctly (when it feels like it) but it’s Much better. It has rod knock so i’m going to replace the rod bearings to make it hold over without rebuilding the rest of the engine.

I always have a popping noise only when backing up and turning right. You think it could be the cv joints?
