Restyle is out. Hardly any changes. Wow..CarPlay and power drivers seat. Toyota stop being so predictable. They need to address the power plant but with decent sales I guess there is no motivation. I’m holding out for the new Tundra at this point.

Excellent post. At some point Toyota will either address the market with regard to what consumers are wanting out of a modern truck/SUV or they go the other route and play the conservative game. Either way they are selling well so this will be interesting to see how it plays out.

If they addressed these issues I’d definitely entertain purchasing one. The looks are fantastic already. I’m honestly waiting for the tundra redesign to compliment my t4r, but a taco with a better drivetrain could be in the cards.

How many coats of the SEM paint did you use? Easy to apply? I like the idea of this but afraid I'd blotch it up or get runs on it.

Thanks! I ordered some 3M double sided tape so I may try to use that as well. It's been unusually warm for North Alabama (50-60*s) so I may just install it if I get it soon. Otherwise it will probably be a spring project when the temps are a bit warmer. Thanks again for the info!
