Thanks mate - you just encouraged me to order some after procrastinating for waaaaayyyyy too long...

Having looked at it again today, I agree with the previous two posts - the bushing really isn't designed to be replaced and it isn't too expensive to just replace the whole cable. (I'm sure you could find something to take up the slack if you really didn't want to replace the whole cable.)...

Check the rubber bushing that is attached where the throttle cable joins your accelerator pedal - mine is perished / split and I have a similar amount of play... I am probably going to replace that bushing if I can (or find a way to make it last...)
