i would look and trade it with '06 and up.. i had an '05 limited and traded it for a '06 limited.. because i wanted the led tails and projector headlights.. the bigger fender flares are a nice upgrade too.. just saying

fricckin' engine whine when you let go of the gas.. brought it to 2 dealers and they both couldn't find the cause.. first they both acknowledge that it was an unusual sound, after that they claimed that the sound was normal... whine is not present when i take of the serpentine belt.. dealer...

update: so i took it to the first dealer i originally went to and told them the second dealer only replaced 2 pulleys after their own tech said all 4 needed to be replaced.. after another 5 hours waiting they said they couldn't determine where that whine is coming from and that concluded that...

i was thinking about trading my '05 limited last year to a 5th gen but decided otherwise.. went with an '06 limited instead.. love the cosmetic changes from the '05.. headlights, tails, fender flairs, bumpers.. especially the rims.. i'm keeping this one till a 6th gen comes out... :banana:

the only true thing i can attest to the "hump" spoiler is it will avoid excessive dust build-up on your rear glass as i have mentioned in your other post.. i know this for a fact as i have compared this with my in-laws whose 4runner doesn't have the hump spoiler.. just looking at the picture...

curious... are you buying that as a second car? i see you already have an '06... anyway if i had to choose, '05 5 spd..

are you paying cash or financing it? i suggest getting the '06 and above models.. had an '05 but but i liked the cosmetic changes on the '06...

ok... your'e talking about the older spoilers.. the flat ones.. they don't serve any purpose, other than looks... well, it is your 4runner.. looks like your mind is already made up...

nice runner.. only problem with getting rid of your spoiler is that you'll have holes on your rear door... might as well trade your whole rear with one that doesn't have the spoiler.. you will also be loosing your third brake light... you shouldn't have any problem getting rid of it if that is...
