any recomendations for rear shocks please. 97 4x4 4runner trd. mostly paved driving, with some mudding/rock running. thx,alex

its all still there, but quite rusty and flakey. i think once i start to remove the shocks, its going to crumble. but i will wait and see. at least now, i know the repair parts are available if needed. thx,alex

upper shock mounting area its actually the upper portion where the rear shock stud goes through and attaches on the inside? it looks like it could be # 28 on the breakdown pic. at this time, im not too concerned about price, just want to fix my baby. thx,alex

was going to replace rear shocks on my 97 4runner, but the top metal mounting area is pretty rusty. does anyone make a repair panel (tower), or does it have to be fabricated? thx in advance. new to this forum alex
