The Official 3rd Gen Dual Case, Dual Locked Thread

And they do make a factory screenprint for the LC lockers but it doesn't really fit in the 3rd gen cluster. Probably could make it work though. But, it's a picture of a drivetrain with an "x". Not words. So doesn't go with the factory lights in a third gen. May be worth a try though.

The Official 3rd Gen Dual Case, Dual Locked Thread

They make a dial for the electric lockers. It does not fit in a third gen in any of the factory punchouts. It also doesn't allow for independent locking of the front and rear diffs. You can have just the rear, or both. But not just the front. Granted, rear or both is good 99% of the time...

The Official 3rd Gen Dual Case, Dual Locked Thread

Thanks!! I'm working on my build thread. It just takes a lot of time to get everything posted up. Hopefully I'll get to the locker wiring soon.

    Addicted rear bumper issues

Agreed on the cuts. In order to fit my sliders when I built them, I bent the entire pinch weld along the entire rocker up with a BFH. Very pleased with it. Sliders are tucked up nicely. As for powder coat, They may have taped the holes or simply over drilled to allow for adjustment. Powder...

    Addicted rear bumper issues

Either bend the rubbing pinch weld out of the way or cut it. Pretty simple fix. Could be one of your body mounts is bad, so that side is sitting a little low. Hard to tell without seeing it in person. As for the hole fitment, was the bumper powder coated? If so, that's the issue. Goes on...

    Chim's 99

I'll throw in my $0.02 here (or maybe $0.01, LOL). I'm new on this site, but been doing the IFS thing for 15 years now, on two different generation IFS, and while I haven't done super hard rock crawling, I've been successfully (no winch assistance) up several of Colorado's more challenging...

Question for people who bought OEM TOYOTA LCA BUSHINGS

Bought mine direct from the dealer. Looked just like that. Individual bagged, bag sealed with the sticker.

ARB dual compressor mounting location options?

Mine is a 99. In the pic above you can see the ABS sitting behind the compressor bracket. Here is a shot of when I was re-looming the cruise control and ABS relay wires. And here is a more vertical shot Perhaps the perspective is throwing you off. The compressor sits up pretty high. As...

    AxleIke- 1999 4Runner SR5

At this point, I was pretty sick of the craptastic ride afforded me by the Bilstein shocks, so I decided to upgrade. I researched and researched, and researched. And what I found out, and ultimately has still been screwing me is this: Everyone's idea of a "good" ride is incredibly different...

ARB dual compressor mounting location options?

It fits there with the ABS module in the factory location. The ABS relay's had to be relocated. I can try to get a picture of that.

ARB dual compressor mounting location options?

Mine is in the engine bay. 99 so no TB mounted cruise. Unwrapped the wiring, and relocated the ABS relays sideways. Then moved the cruise control by fabbing up a mount for the compressor and ABS to ride on. Bracket has a heat shield to block direct heat from the exhaust manifold. Works bueno.

    AxleIke- 1999 4Runner SR5

Back to the dual case set up: So, after I couldn't get the trans working, I went with the Inchworm adapter, like I said. This adapter has some plusses and minuses. Its got the option to clock, which is good, but I didn't do that, but it also has mounting patterns for the 4.0 transmissions...
