Great writeup. Used it to replace my clockspring and clear my Airbag MIL. A clarification: the two torx screws should be completely loosened, just not removed from their plastic bracket (it keeps them in place). Also, my rig was used T27 Torx in those locations (not T25)

According to the bluedriver website BlueDriver Vehicle Compatibility It does not read SRS codes for a 2007 4runner. Does anyone have a scan tool reccomendation that is known to read SRS codes from a 4th gen 4runner?

Update I contacted Detroit Axle, and they made no attempt at a refund, warranty, or had any interest in inspecting the item. They told me to deal with Amazon, and the return window had already expired. Do not recommend.

Re: Luck. Absolutely. Thank you for your kind words. Working on my car so much, I got into a bad habit of not using my torque wench and guesstimating with my breaker bar. Never again. But you would think a few extra foot pounds (plus or minus) wouldn't cause such a catastrophic failure...

I did the ZPC once after the tire install, and yes it was on a flat surface. I'll try it again if you think it will help. I don't think I'm an overly aggressive driver, but then again, that's subjective.

Mine is doing the same from the drivers side wheel well. Just got 285 tires, front bumper trimmed and front mud flaps removed to make them fit. I'll check all the paneling and report back.
