My 97's brakes lasted until 90K. We kept trying to get our mechanic to change them and he kept saying, "Nope, you dont' need them." :)

Well, I just painted my wheels and have to say I don't see it working on your truck if you have a lift. I used an aftermarket jack on the frame and it barely had enough lift on it. I did use the bottle jack on the control arm to get the wheel back on, but I'm under the impression that it isn't...

Mine had a rear suspention recall, but otherwise I don't remember anything else.

I used 3 cans of black, but had to reshoot 2 of the wheels. You can probably get away with 1 can of primer depending on how many coat you go with.

I believe I have seen a few with gunmetal. Search Paint your wheels and you should find the thread. Or it may be in the first 5 pages or so...They looked really nice that color. And Thanks!

I Agree Jon, I've owned the truck for 10 years and this is pretty much my first mod besides a new radio. LOL. I really like the black myself! :lookout:

Sorry for the stupid question but, I thought it was a bad idea to put the jack under the control arm?

A cheap easy conversion kit from 2WD to 4WD. :)
