You are not getting genuine Toyota parts & sealant , and I bet they wont use the Factory Service Manual when installing. Its your money though

It does not look to difficult. Just take your time, and be patient. A few days before you tackle the job, start spraying all the bolts /nuts on the exhaust pipe and manifold with Liquid wrench or equivalent daily.

And all they would have done is tighten the gas cap. For the price, I would have considered just replacing the gas cap. I will only use OEM Toyota parts in my 4runner, and thats why is runs so well and will last a long time.

2006 4runner @ 226K Is there a procedure for installing a new Accumulator? Do you fill it with fluid or leave it dry, as it came from the dealer?

If you do not go OEM , you are asking for more problems. I have an SR5 and purchased the OEM lamp assemblies for the same year in the sport version which have darker lenses, and it was worth it !

2006 SR5 4Runner 219,000 miles W/ 3" lift up front. Installed new upper & lower Control Arm Assemblies, and new Tie rod ends. Then had an alignment done. I cant decipher the alignment paper so im not sure if its ok or not....

You can remove the T-stat, and test it in a pot of water with a thermometer per the FSM. Always purchase a OEM thermostat from the dealer.

Thank you for that Earthrealm... I tested the O2 sensor on bank 2 below the cat. It was 13 I also tested the A/F sensor above the cat. It was 2 Both were tested at about 69-70 degrees according to my IR thermometer. So according to the FSM , they were both within their guidelines.

I believe there is a Passenger side, and a drivers side specific ( different part numbers) for the O2 Sensors. I found this FSM test for the sensor.

OK, thanks for the input. I will continue to try to find conclusive answers to weather the Bank 2 is passenger or drivers side.
