Nice product but not worth $50 in my opinion. I spent $9.27 on mine and it took me about 10 minutes to put them in. Cool design and a good company. I will be buying their brackets to mount two spot lights in the near future.

I went back over all the nuts and bolts last night before I hit the trail. I found that the nut on top of the strut of my Toytec lift to have backed out a few turns. Just give that a once over. Might be the cause of your noise.

Last night I tested out my new SR-Series 30" light bar.

Installed a Rigid Industries 30" SR-Series light bar. Did a simple instal with two L brackets from Home Depot. Cut them down to the size I needed to mount the light bar.

Would only need two so that's $50? Not saying it's the route he needs to take but it's an option. I do like your idea but you would have to fabricate some brackets but it wouldn't be difficult.
