Still having issues with the rear window. Been having no luck on finding anything helpful on the internet.

I bought a 94 4runner a few years ago and everything worked fine. Now I'm having issues with my back window . It will roll down with the key but I have to roll it back up by the switch and the switch won't work when trying to roll the window back down again. Any thoughts on what the issue could be?

My engine and engine wiring is an 87 but the body ect. is an 86.

I have a timing light that I've used a couple times. I did the full tune up as soon as I installed the engine along with all new fluids ect. Is there somewhere I need to jump it to like in the V6?

I'm in the Rancho Cucamonga area. Always looking to meet new 4runner enthusiasts.

I was wondering what the best way to time my 86 4runner was? I keep feeling like it's off and I'm just not pulling the power I used to before my engine swap.

It's the middle seal where the housing and differential pumpkin(i think it's called) is leaking. It has no oil. Would anyone know where I can find front 4.88 gears? I can find the rear but not the front. Since I'm probably going to have to change the gears because there's no oil.

I finally got the rear end I wanted for my 4runner. It's off a auto 89 V6. How much of a hassle is it to change out that pumpkin seal? Is it a quick, simple process or do I need to pull it all apart?

ya i know i would need to find that out. but I'm talking about if i use a rear 4.88 7.5 gear in the front. would it work or is there another 4.88 gear i need for the front and im about to put a 89 v6 4runner auto rear end in my 86 4 cylinder 5 speed do you know if it will bolt right in or...

Thanks for the info on the rear end. I understand that I need to change front and back to 4.88 but is the back gear the same as the front just turned around. Is it possible for me to buy 2 rear end gears and use one on the front?
