wow after reading these posts i think i might just pay to have my lights installed professionally. Not any good with electrical and don't want to start pulling my new truck apart to attempt this only to find i messed something up

so how did this work out for you - i just purchased an aob switch and am contemplating wiring up my aux lights myself. how did you wire up the 4th wire and how did you do the overall wiring thru the firewall and fusebox etc? thanks

still have not found a full brush grille guard for the 2014 4runner yet, anyone else have any luck. I heard some companies are not going to make them and others have not released them yet - shame

i know this is an old thread, but i have to throw in my two cents here - i found trying to order a toyota horrible experience. I built my toyota TE per the specs, with KDSS. I priced it on true car and got dealer quotes for it, but when they realized it was not a car they are sending readily...

the brush guards are not out yet. I was told they typically have them for the new model year by next april to June so they should be out soon - I have the silver trail and am looking for the westin chrome brush guard. Ill wait for it if its only a few more weeks. I am not a fan of the bull bars

Kdss KDSS is extremely hard to find, I dont understand it. After much negotiating and looking around I have decided its worth the cost and the wait. you kinda get screwed when you have to order one and lose out on the deals, but If im paying that much for a new truck that should last me...

thanks for the replies. I don't think I will regret not having the full time 4wd, as long as I know i have the option to engage all 4 when needed then. I am still struggling with myself over why i I need to get into a new one when the 04 has been very reliable and still has alot more to go...

thanks. I may hold off and wait for some better incentives. they are hard to get but they are out there and it seems crazy to have to pay a premium for something others are getting cheaper. I am sure teh KDSS will be more available in the next month or two than they are now
