Wow, I had the exact same experiece, same color, same everything. After trading in my 97 SR5 (372,000 and stil going ) I was so psyched to get a new one. I took delivery of it at night, and the next day, what a disappointment. The dealer has offered to have a detailer "fix" teh scratches...

365,000 on my 97 5 spd. Great truck, no problems except alt brushes @ 300,000. May have to get rid of her ( regretfully ) if I can't get her to pass emissions. Don't like the new ones, no manuel transmissions,I guess Ill wait to see what the new FJ is all about.
