anyone ever seen this, second oil change after 6months 3000 miles, using toyota oem gasket torqued to 30 ft lbs, when I removed plug the gasket had completely delaminated into 4 separate layers, luckily did not leak.
I have a 2023 4runner limited. When I got the car home after purchase i did my own inspection to see if fluid levels were good, wheel torque etc.. I noted that the oil level was about 1/3 inch above the max indicator on the dipstick. I checked the level several times in the first few thousand...
Sounds like you are doing everything correctly. Is it possible that someone loosened the lug nuts without your knowledge or if you had recently been working on that wheel maybe you got distracted and forgot.
