    Yes, I used a ring terminal on the braid and attached it to one of the chasis bolts near the spare tire. The other is connected to the body inside the tail light housing where the jack is. Sorry for the late reply.

    I have two ground straps connected to the base of the antenna. They are both about 2.5 feet long, one connected to the body and one to the chasis. It is getting the job done for both CB and Ham bands. Good luck with the install, keep us posted!
