All I have to say is Toyo Open Country AT2 is a solid choice. Enough of the nut-swinging in here guys... BFGs are good tires, a bit of a dated design, but "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Personally, I wouldn't do it as the stock tire width is 265, so to me going down to such a narrow, yet ridiculously tall tire doesn't make sense. I thought the BFG KM2 Jeep Rubicon take-offs that everybody runs are narrow and tall. These are even more. Also, this tire size is usually for dualie...

To second what momo.75 said earlier, I'd say you should consider the Toyo Open Country A/T II. I just picked up a set in the 265/70/17 flavour and they are incredible. Keep in mind that these are the older cousin of the Nitto Terra Grappler as Toyo Tires makes Nitto Tires.

I have an '05 Limited with no memory seats. Nor do I have the manual trip reset button on the right gauge cluster. I have the ODO/Reset buttons to the left of my cluster, with the dimmer dial. And mine's a Canadian 4Runner as well. Could it be a mid-cycle refresh difference? 06-09 only?
