thanks! I'm actually looking at a very clean 03 T4R black, limited, v6 in the bay area with only 60k miles and an asking price of $15.7k .... but the problem is ... black =X!!!!! being a black car owner, it's such a pain, I cannot imagine an SUV that I plan on taking into the snow/rain etc. ...

I completely agree that it is utter nonsense to buy a 4wd especially since my purpose is to go into the snowy areas of Lake Tahoe :D but I'm curious, how costly is this timing belt change?

although it does sound like a great deal, I'm actually trying to trade in and/or sell the van (2000 toyota sienna XLE) and it sells for around $9000, so I don't really want to put a WHOLE lot more on top of it so I was thinking around $15-18k ... :confused:
